CARVE OUT YOUR OWN DESTINY

EXTREME PERFORMANCE PROTOCOL GROUP TRAINING

Whether the goal is to train like a super soldier, or to literally become one, the Extreme Performance Protocol is meant to address the complex demands of permanent preparedness. Also referred to as the "Space Marine" template, Alex Viada crafted this protocol to create an athlete who is inhumanly strong, fast, with endless wells of endurance, and the physical capability to handle any challenge they encounter.

Incorporating principles of durability, agility, power, flexibility, strength, speed, and endurance, this group program takes the EPP Template (available for sale here) and refines it into a choice between the core Prepare or Perform tracks, each updated weekly with new runs, swims, bikes, and medleys. Utilize the community for challenges, form checks, camaraderie, and Q&As on how to best utilize the programming available to you.

Access to both programs is $39/month, no contract, includes Coach-Provided TrainingPeaks Premium

Programming is hosted in TrainingPeaks, in a Dynamic Training Plan

MEET YOUR COACH

I (Alex) developed this program over two decades into my hybrid coaching career, and it is really the pinnacle of everything I've learned after working with thousands and thousands of athletes. While I don't have the capacity offer one on one coaching to as many people as I'd like, using this program as the framework allows me to devote my time to help people best learn to use it, to be the best they can be, and train for any challenge they can imagine.

PREPARE & PERFORM

The guts of EPP are written as endlessly variable 14-day protocols that can be adjusted to suit any schedule. Prepare is meant to be followed by itself, and Perform is written to allow for PT, Special Segments, combatives, or any other work that a job or additional training demands may introduce at random throughout a week.

3 UPDATING SUBTEMPLATES

EPP as a standalone contained 6 sub-templates, but we're refining them down to 3: Swim, Bike, Run. Prepare will utilize biking or running (athlete's choice), and Perform will provide athletes with the 3 full sub-templates to choose from, with new workouts uploaded weekly. Medleys and metcons will be added weekly, with the opportunity to run them alongside the rest of the community.

TRAININGPEAKS PREMIUM ACCESS

One of the biggest benefits of the EPP program is that it is so flexible and easy to autoregulate, but capturing this in an app is difficult. We've chosen to provide each EPP Group Training Member with TrainingPeaks Premium as part of their membership. This allows members to delete, move, add, or edit workouts that we program weekly within the TrainingPeaks app, and create a training calendar that's best for them.

FOR ALL ATHLETES

Especially those that are interested in exploring the hybrid space, but by using a variety of exercises, methods, modalities, and leaving no stone unturned.

NO minimum fitness level required for entry, but general knowledge of barbell lifts (unless gym access is guaranteed and machines are available) is recommended, as is access to the endurance modality you wish to use (treadmill in winter, etc). Form checks are offered in the community, so don't panic if you aren't 100% confident.
