Justin Jones

Justin's love for training began early, playing basketball from ages 5 to 17 and competing in track and cross country throughout middle and high school. His passion for hybrid training started in 2013 while preparing for a demanding military selection pipeline, where he developed a deep appreciation for balancing strength and endurance. Over the years, he refined his own training while coaching others pursuing careers in the military and first responders.Ā
After an injury in training forced him to shift gears, Justin spent the remainder of his military career in cybersecurity while continuing to coach athletes. Now out of the Navy, he remains dedicated to coaching and has worked with a diverse roster of athletes, including active-duty military, law enforcement officers, recruits preparing for selection courses and academies (military and fire), short-course triathletes, endurance athletes competing in races up to 50 miles, powerlifters, and individuals training for general health and resilience.
With his technical background, Justin excels at analyzing both data and subjective feedback, translating complex insights into simple, actionable strategies for his athletes. He is passionate about bridging the gap between science and real-world performance, staying up to date with the latest research, and continuously refining his coaching approach. As an athlete, Justin currently competes in powerlifting and ultramarathons, with plans to return to triathlon in the future.
As a dad, he is passionate about helping others balance personal goals with lifeā€™s responsibilities. He believes the best way to inspire the next generation is to demonstrate hard work, resilience, and healthy striving. For Justin, training is both a technical pursuit and an unpredictable adventure. He loves lifting for its data-driven structure and endurance racing for its unpredictability and mental challenge.
Justin holds his NSCA-CSCS and NASM-CPT. He is currently preparing to pursue his M.S. in Exercise Physiology.
